Received this electric longboard skateboard a week ago. The battery management is truly efficient, wheels are unstoppable even through hard mud and motors are very powerfull.
Only think to consider : Weight. You don‘t feel it when riding, but when you go out on a city tour and want to stop for a drink or other, you have to deal with a 20 kg skateboard with no handle !
This is actually the first longboard I have ever purchased. I enjoy snowboarding so when I saw someone else with an electric long board, I was excited to get one of my own. After an absurd amount of online research, the Ecomobl ET Pro 2WD board seemed to fit what I needed: a board that could make my 1-3 mile work commute with occasionally terrible roads (Chicago and Philadelphia).
I still surprise myself sometimes at how much I enjoy riding it to and from work every day. I have yet to try it in cold weather, so I can’t speak to that.
The only down side is that riding in the rain is not great, which I try to avoid as much as possible. Unfortunately the remote seems to be fairly sensitive to any type of moisture and although I have protected it from direct rain, the remote has glitched beyond recovering necessitating the purchase of a new one (NOTE: the coverage does NOT cover the remote).
It is on the heavier side and slightly bulky but easy to wheel and tuck away in a corner at a bar. If you are considering an electric longboard, this one is fire – worth the $$
