I ride the Ecomobl Electric Longboard in New York’s Central Park
Today, I spent a day riding the Ecomobl Electric Longboard I just bought in New York’s Central Park.
so happy!
Central Park is a large park in the middle of Manhattan, stretching from 59th Street in the south to 110th Street in the north (stretching from Fifth Avenue to Eighth Avenue in the east and west). Designed and built by humans while integrating into the pristine natural landscape, Central Park welcomes up to 42 million visitors each year. It’s no wonder that Central Park is called the “beating heart of Manhattan.” Central Park’s scenic roads are closed to traffic, and there are many attractions and activities in the park. No matter what the season, there is always something to do.
Attractions in Central Park
There are many attractions in Central Park: if it’s your first time here, you won’t be able to see them all. I’ve compiled a list of my favorite attractions so you can make the most of your time in the parks.
The Great Lawn
The Great Lawn is a large open space in the middle of the park (from 79th Street to 86th Street). There are baseball fields and basketball courts, as well as many other sports venues. In the summer, free concerts are held here.
Strawberry Fields
In 1980, Beatles icon John Lennon was assassinated in front of the Dakota Building, an apartment building across from Central Park. The strawberry field was established after his death as a symbol of peace. Strawberry Fields is a corner of the park that felt like he would always be happy, and fans leave flowers, poems and candles here every day in his memory.

Belvedere Castle Belvedere Castle
The castle was built in the 19th century on Vista Rock, one of the park’s non-man-made rocks (450 million years old!). Until the 1960s, the New York Meteorological Observatory continued to use this location to observe weather. Belvedere is Italian for “beautiful view” – and this castle certainly lives up to its name.

Central Park Zoo and Children’s Zoo
Lions, monkeys, penguins and polar bears can be seen at the Central Park Zoo. You may know this zoo because it was the inspiration for the movie Madagascar. There is also a special children’s zoo where children can pet animals. They can see goats, sheep, cows and fat pigs up close.

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir
The reservoir was named after Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1994 in recognition of her significant contributions to New York City. This is also her favorite place to run. It remains a popular running spot, especially in the spring when the flowers are in bloom. The full circle is 1.5 miles.

Sheep Meadow is a great place for recreation and leisure. In the summer, many New Yorkers come here to sunbathe, people watch and have picnics. Skyscrapers peek out from the treetops, creating a unique scene. Until 1934, this was a pasture for sheep grazing. Shepherd lived in a nearby building that is now the famous Tavern on the Green. There will be outdoor movie screenings at Sheep Meadow at the end of August. Free admission.
