Riding Electric Board on Brooklyn Bridge - Ecomobl Electric Skateboards USA

“I am 41 years of age and this is my first Ecomobl Electric Board of any kind. This thing is excellent. Very well made with attention to detail. Easy to ride. Goes up any hill and brake function is good. AT wheels make it easy to ride over bumps and gaps all over town and bike paths. I love it. I wish it even had more range as you can ride it for hours without any effort or fatigue.”United States customer said

The Brooklyn Bridge was built between 1869 and 1883 and opened in May 1883. It is the world’s first steel suspension bridge. For some time, the Brooklyn Bridge was the only connection between Manhattan and Brooklyn. As you cross the bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan, you’ll admire the wonderful New York skyline.

Brooklyn Bridge History
The Brooklyn Bridge was designed by John August Roebling, who died in an accident during the construction of the bridge. After his death, his son Washington Roebling took over. But he also had an accident that prevented him from continuing to coordinate bridge construction on site. Her wife, Emily Warren Roebling, assisted on site and he followed the construction of the bridge from his apartment with a telescope. She helped Washington Roebling communicate with construction workers. During the construction period, 27 people died. On May 24, 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge officially opened. Emily Warren Roebling was the first to cross the bridge, and 1,800 cars and 150,300 pedestrians followed her that day. At the time, the Brooklyn Bridge was the only connection between Manhattan and Brooklyn.

When the Brooklyn Bridge was built, it cost $19 million. In 2007, this amount was equivalent to $320 million. Fun facts about the bridge: Six days after it opened, rumors spread about the bridge’s stability that it would collapse. To prove the rumors wrong, circus manager P.T. Barnum paraded 21 elephants across the bridge the following year.

Today, an average of 120,000 cars, 4,000 pedestrians and 2,600 bicycles cross the Brooklyn Bridge every day.
