Review: Ecomobl Ripper is the budget-priced all-terrain electric skateboard to buy - Ecomobl Electric Skateboards USA

Electric skateboards indeed offer an exhilarating experience, regardless of the model or location of your ride. The sheer thrill of having a speedy, enjoyable mode of transportation packed into a portable package that fits snugly under your arm is an achievement worth celebrating on its own. However, off-road electric longboards elevate the excitement to new heights by extending your adventures beyond mere bike paths and into the great outdoors. Enter the Ecomobl Ripper – an all-terrain e-board engineered to conquer any landscape with ease, all without denting your wallet.

I’ve ridden a lot of off-road electric skateboards and longboards. Sometimes I’ve found boards that have great speed and range specs, and other times I’ve found affordably priced boards. But I’ve rarely seen such a good combination as with the Ecomobl Ripper 2WD.

What does this all-terrain electric longboard offer?

The Ecomobl Ripper 2WD isn’t just an all-terrain board. It comes with 8” wheels too for those that fearlessly tackles various terrains, from rugged trails to urban streets, ensuring that no adventure is off-limits.

But for riders like me that want the best performance on loose terrain, the 8” pneumatic tires are where the fun is at. I had these things flying through grass, dirt, sand, and more.

I’ve always enjoyed using all-terrain boards on the asphalt because they roll over potholes and road cracks with ease, unlike smaller PU skateboard wheels that tend to buck around more on the slightest imperfections.

the Ripper delivers a smooth and stable ride, even on uneven surfaces and challenging terrain. no doubt helped by the Canadian maple and bamboo deck that offers supreme springiness and shock absorption

Whether you’re cruising through forest trails, navigating rocky paths, or exploring urban jungles, this e-board offers unmatched performance and reliability.

About 6382 Motor

It is driven by two 3500 Watt motors and one 55A ESC, which can accelerate its speed up to 35 mph. And help you conquer 30%-40% slope.

When it comes to motors, I’ll always prefer panetary gear motors to belt drive due to their strong power operation. The belts on the other brand’s board are quite audible as they wind up, Moreover, the belt is easy to break and it is troublesome to replace it frequently.

About speed

Cruising comfortably at around 20 mph (32 km/h) allows you to enjoy the thrill of the ride without feeling overwhelmed. It’s a speed that offers a perfect balance of excitement and control, allowing you to take in the scenery and enjoy the freedom of gliding along effortlessly.

As you push past 25 mph (40 km/h), the adrenaline rush intensifies, but so does the awareness of the risks involved. Riding at these higher speeds requires heightened focus and concentration, as well as a keen appreciation for your own safety. While your board may be capable of reaching speeds of 31 mph (50 km/h), it’s crucial to recognize that riding at such velocities leaves little room for error.

About range

If you’re riding slower or are a lighter rider, you’ll go farther. High-speed riding from heavier riders sucks up more battery. And hill climbing, that really kills range.

But with a quite large 12S5P 25Ah battery+55A ESC , Ecomobl says you’ll get 18-27 miles (30-45 km) of real-world range. And based on my testing, that fully checks out. I tend to not go crazy on the throttle and so I get the higher end of that range when I’m just doing leisurely cruising at 20 mph (32 km/h). But when I’m riding off-road and going faster, I’ll definitely scrape the lower end of that range too.

For just $1,299, making it accessible to riders of all budgets without compromising on quality or performance. Unlike other off-road electric longboards that come with a hefty price tag, the Ripper offers exceptional value for money, allowing riders to experience the thrill of off-road adventures without breaking the bank. Additionally, its compact and portable design ensures convenient transportation, allowing you to take your outdoor escapades wherever the path may lead.

Ecomobl Ripper redefines the off-road electric skateboard experience, offering unbeatable performance, durability, and affordability in one sleek package. Whether you’re a seasoned rider looking to conquer new terrain or a novice eager to explore the great outdoors, the Ripper is your ticket to endless adventure and excitement. So gear up, hit the trails, and let the Ecomobl Ripper unleash your inner explorer.
