M24 Pro electric mountainboard reivews from Mark Rockshock - Ecomobl Electric Skateboards USA

Mark Rockshock is a fan of Ecomobl skateboards and has specially recorded M24 Pro riding videos.

M24 Pro electric mountainboard  was the first range test with the pneumatics (8.5 inches) and the extended battery pack together – last year in the really cold spring at 4C/37F.
Range: 60km forest – 75km asphalt
Weight: 35kg – rides as smoothly as butter
After 2 hours in Pro mode without a break, my legs were flat – and the remote control still had 2 bars, but I couldn’t…”

The above is Mark Rockshock’s high evaluation of M24, but good products will always bring doubts.

Q: Sorry man, I don’t think your range is accurate. I have the Telum BA with a slightly smaller battery and I’m getting half of what you get .M24 1080wh – Telum BA 1036wh and I’m not a big guy.

Mark Rockshock: hmmm – I have no business lying here. it’s the truth.
Have you watched the video? There is a list at the beginning with all the specs. Here you can see that I used the original battery and the extension on top in the range test (12S5P and 12S6P together). I can also post several RELIVE videos from a greater distance to you “as proof”… Let me see what I find in the account…

Q:Have you ever depleted the battery to nearly 3-4% so it no longer keeps speed over 20kmh? If you have, what was the total range? My X4S with two 750wh batteries (so total 1500wh) usually give me 53km range, including about 200m of elevation.
Your case is about ~2000wh battery and 50km range. If X4S has the same efficiency, you should be able to do about 80km range.

Mark Rockshock: yes, in theory the values are always different. It depends on many factors. The surface, tire pressure, weight of the rider (including luggage), mountain rides… Gravel and mud cost the most energy. For me it’s mixed routes. It’s very rare to find long asphalt roads because eSk8s are simply banned here in Germany. That’s why one day I came across the M24PRO, which you can ride anywhere – just like with the Propel X4. A freedom that not all boards have – and you can still carve on asphalt. If it weren’t for the weight…

… and my record was 65km with the fat airless tires and 75km with the pneumatic tires. In both cases, mixed terrain with lots of uphill riding and always with the remote control on the highest setting. The luggage (I always have tools, drinks, spare parts and an electric air pump with me) and I easily weigh over 100kg. You have to take all of that into account

That’s what I’m running over one year. Before the battery extension I was so unhappy with the range. The planetary gear drive is sooo thirsty and all is heavy, but much better quality as Bajaboards. Yes, I change many parts over the years, but all in all is the M24Pro my favourite board across the possibilities in my country (means mostly in the woods)

We in the south of Germany have an eSk8 community and unfortunately meet up for group rides at too great intervals.
Sometimes I leads the “Ecomobl Team” and always invites people to such great trips. In a wonderful atmosphere with eSk8 friends, your heart will melt.
I can only advise: look for/find eSk8ters in your area and show each other your eSk8 hotspots_to_ride. You can see this energy in this video (at least I think so)
